   a. Tropical cyclone summary:
      (1) at 220000z, tropical depression 02w (two) was located near
7.5n 142.2e, approximately 270 nm east-southeast of Yap, and had
tracked northwestward at 15 knots over the past six hours. Maximum
sustained surface winds were estimated at 30 knots gusting to 40
